His arrival was heralded by heavy footfalls through the undergrowth. As he came fully into view, it was clear that this was no young upstart, but a fully grown, battle scarred invincible dragon. He struck a magificent pose before demolishing the remainder of the goat carcass.

He then left the 'picnic area' and headed towards me where I was hiding behind a flimsy bush. I had no weapon for protection save the 400mm telephoto lens and my knuckles were white as I gripped it. I need not have worried as he passed within three metres of me, head down and seemingly lost in thought - perhaps wondering who had provided his last meal.

And so concluded a most exciting and worthwhile adventure.
