The sun was burning so the proper exposure of the background sea would have been better served at a faster shutter speed. It seems however that 1/320 second is the rate necessary to highlight the raging red orange vortex of the sail bursting from the gushing headwind. The current was tossing us furiously so the tilt was incidental. I kind of like the shot's inclination- anyway, I need to learn the use of tilt for effect.

Terence- yes it is a traditional Balinese boat. Sekotong is directly across Bali so this part of Lombok is about 80% Balinese. Another look of these Balinese boats is:
